Jumping with Jamie

We started with the skills check, where looking in turns was his only issue, and he sat back massivley when unweighting the bike, so i quickly corrected this before moving on. We worked down 2/3rds of the trail, linking both types of corners, rock gardens and fly outs. We then worked through the drop technique and then onto the table top. Here i worked with him over the gap jump, and kept decreasing his speed so that he had to put more effort into jumping the same distance. The pump and jump was next, and he was soon pumping, jumping and manualing through the sections. He wanted to ride some more jumps, so we worked on the ladder gap jump which followed the pump trail, a larger dirt to dirt gap jump and the learner dirt jump. It was a hot day, and by this point, tiredness was setting and and we called an end to the session. Nice one!
