Singletrack skills session 29th May

Today's riders arrived early so we had a coffee before we started. I ran them through my skills check and identified the missing physical skills and then moved on to some cornering work to apply the physical skills before moving to a rock section to work on applying the mental skills that I teach also.
Over the period of the session we worked on applying the skills sets in a singletrack environment and worked on linking 14 sections of a trail together, working on control areas and line choices. Flat, bermed, off camber and switchback turns were linked to drop offs, pumping, rocks, steps and carrying speed through undulations on a trail. Before the end of the session I even showed them all why the skills made drops easy too and they were all amazed at how much control they now felt and as a by product of that they were faster too.
Great session guys and girls, High5!
