14th April Public Jumps and Drops Session

The session started with the skills check where we worked on giving each rider a full set of skills, by seeing what was missing, and what they already had. We also made the necassary set up changes, before moving onto drops. Here we gave each rider a set of mental skills, aond they each used these to be landing comfortably off the largest drop. We done a little bit of work on cornering, first we worked on footwork and body position, and then moved onto a single berm to work on looking. We then started linking drops into corners. Each rider was now riding this section of trail with speed and control. We moved onto the table top, where we took care of each of their speeds individually, and soon everyone was landing perfectly on the downslope of the jump. Some even rode the gap jump too. Our session ended on the pump and jump trail, where we had them controlling their own speed in order to jump or manual certain sections within it, and linking this with two corners, and some the wooden gap jump that followed.

Great session guys!
