Andy brings Dan along for a session

Andy Had a session with me last year and returned with Dan for another. The skills check showed me that they needed work on looking and body positioning as well as their mental skills. We began with drops and I was even able to work on moving the bike in the air to begin to style it. From their we moved to the skills trail and began working on their fluidity and control of the trail speed. Rock gardens, steps, jumps and drops were linked to flat, bermed, off camber and switchback turns. We moved down the trail methodically, always adding the previous sections to the newest and soon they were riding the whole trail and knowing when it was right or wrong in any sections. From their we moved to the 6ft tabletop and gap jump and in a few short moves they both sailed over the tabletop and they used their mental skills to decide to ride the gap jump side too! Andy's 1st ever gap and to make sure he rode it a few times. Dan even styled it!
I moved them onto what would prove to be our final trail to work on absorbing, jumping and pumping sections on a trail and deciding which is best for any given section. We even worked on linking the 2 berms at the end of the trail together. Our session ended as mental fatigue crept in and unforced errors began happening. Amazing session guys.
High5!
