Chris and Alex's 2 to 1
Chris and Alex came to me from Essex and on recommendation. On meeting, I put them through my skills check and found they needed work on body positioning, footwork and looking as well as their mental skills.
I changed their set ups and off we went to the drops to apply the skills.
It took them no time at all to ride all 3 drops and land perfectly.
We moved onto the skills trail and worked on the top half for a while before having a break for coffee. Soon, they were riding all 14 sections and any errors were self diagnosed as they knew why.
Pumping, steps, rock gardens, fly out jumps and drops were linked to flat, bermed, off camber and switchback turns were all linked together via control zones and line choice.
We moved onto riding steeps and their new skills made it all so easy as their new body positioning really felt natural and made sense to them.
On to jumping tabletops and in a few small steps they were in the air and clearing the 6ft tabletop and Chris not only rode the gap jump but styled it too, something he'd never done before today.
For our final application of the skills sets we worked on linking 2 berms together and carrying speed through both without braking.
Amazing session guys.
High5!
