Ryan's one to one session

Ryan turned up as arranged and I set to work straight away. The skills check revealed body position and looking faults and I made the set up changes accordingly to enhance the changes.
To Ryan's surprise, we began with drops and it didn't take him long to ride all 3 and comment on how easy they now felt.
We moved onto the skills trail and worked on the 14 sections contained with in it. Pumping, rock gardens, steps, fly out jumps  and drops were linked to flat, bermed, off camber and switchback turns.
I worked on braking areas and linking drops and corners by line choice. It didn't take Ryan long to get to grips with it all and soon he was riding the entire trail end to end. any errors were now self identified as his skill set, both mental and physical became embedded.
Ryan was beginning to tire mentally as we worked hard on the skills trail so we moved onto steep drop offs and he bailed whilst trying these so we ended our session with a couple of runs of the skills trail.
awesome improvements Ryan and i look forward to seeing you again soon.
