After everyone arrived, we started with the skills checks where we explained, and corrected the physicals skills within the techniques needed in riding. We also made some set up changes, before moving onto drops. The mental skills set was explained, and each rider was soon riding off a drop of their choice, landing perfectly, with much more comfort and control than before. We then did a bit of work on cornering, and had them linking two corners together to practice cornering in both directions. We moved over to the trail, where we had them riding the first half straight away. We then added the fly out, where we taught them to jump, followed by a step, and finally linking drops into corners. We workes on jumping on the tabletop next, where we controlled each riders speed individually, to find their own clearance point. Everyone was soon riding the 6ft tabletop and gap jump next to it! We moved up to the pump and jump trail, where we talked them through pumping, and how it allows you to gain speed in order to jump. Our session came to an end here due to mental tiredness, and they where choosing which sections to pump or jump, linking this with two corners, and some even rode the larger gap jump that followed. Great work guys!
