Enhancing Mark's skill set

Our session began with my skills check and I identified that Mark needed looking and body positioning worked on and I made a small set up change that really made a difference to him. We began with the drop technique and it took no time at all for mark to ride all 3 drops easily using his mental and physical skills sets.
We moved to the skills trail and worked on linking the 14 sections contained within it together and worked on line choice and braking technique. Flat, bermed, off camber and switchback turns were linked to pre jumps, fly out jumps, rock gardens, steps and drops.
After a few complete runs of the trail it was time to move to riding steep drop offs and I worked again on Mark's body positioning and it stunned him how easy it all was.
We moved to the 6ft tabletop and gap jump and in a few small moves Mark was sailing over the tabletop and then used his mental skills to ride the gap jump a few times too.

I then moved onto the pump and jump trail to work on pumping, jumping and even show why the skill sets apply to manuals and soon he was riding the whole trail and even linked in the gap jump at the end of it too.
Our session came to a close as mentally and physically he was tiring and our session ended and off we went to celebrate an amazing session with a xmas pint.
High5!
